Working Method:
1. Tool: electric flat vibrating tamper, laminated board, woven plastic cloth, square batten, carbstick, lath.
2.Constrution steps: Anti-Seepage insulation Layer Materials for aluminium electrolyser are packed in 1mt big bag. There is a longspout at the bottom of the bag with the help of a crane, a bag of the material is hanged with the long spout touching the working spot. Operator pulls the long spout and adjusts unloading spot along with the crane moving slowly until the material is evenly spreaded on the working spot. This kind of construction method can prevent powder and dirt flying upwards. When half of the planned material is spreaded, which is considered as the first layer, strickle the surface, then put laminated boards all over the surface. Then make the material flat and compacted with the electric flat vibrating tamper. Remove the Laminated boards, the woven plastic cloth and inspect the surface. If the surface is flat and homogenous, repeat above steps to construct the second and the last layer. But square battens should be embedded in order to reserve the place for castables to fix the cathode steel bars.
The density of the compacted Anti-Seepage Insulation Layer Materials is approximate 1.90g/cm³. No footprint can be seem when people who wear leather shoes walks on it .The dosage for 1 trough(75KA) is about 8 metric tons. The time and labor consuming is much less thanthat of traditional method of bricklaying. It only takes about 1 hour to construt a through.
